Join us for this hands on workshop led by master gardener Babara Boykin  Create a container garden with your choice of 3 popular herbs. Most materials are provided so advanced registration is required.

Plan to meet outdoors at Or Atid – masks and social-distancing best practices will be observed. In the event of rain we will send out an email that morning and will meet on the rain date. 

 

Preparing for the Workshop

 

What You Need to Do

HOW TO DO IT

Register in advance for the workshop.  You will be able to select three different herbs for your container garden.

There is a small fee of $20  to cover the cost of workshop materials (which you will get to take home)

Click on payment option below

You will need to bring these items with you on the day of the workshop
  • 12” round plant pot or 12”x 18” rectangular pot recommended
  • Gardening gloves or disposable gloves to protect your hands (optional)
  • Small hand shovel (optional)

On the day of the workshop
  • Wear a mask
  • Since we will be working with soil and compost, we recommend that you wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Bring required material
  • Wear a hat or apply sunscreen!
  • We recommend that you cover the floor of your car or trunk so that you can transport your plants home safely
